We are delighted to share the news that the Baltic-to-Balkan Green Corridor is en route to becoming a Single Market Programme (SMP-COSME) project!

Some of Europe's greatest tourism transition opportunities lie in places outside the tourism magnets — smaller cities, rural communities, and less-visited coastal regions. These emerging destinations whose tourism operators - SMEs and DMOs - are ready to become greener, more digital and better connected to European markets.

Advancing the Twin Transition and the EU's Green Deal is difficult to achieve in isolation. Rural tourism operators need access to knowledge, new business relationships, digital solutions and opportunities to learn from operators and destinations facing similar challenges elsewhere in Europe. At B2B Green Corridor, a new SMP COSME project, connects the tourism industry in regions almost invisible to mainstream tourism into a corridor for cooperation, creating a pathway across Europe through which tourism operators, destinations and entrepreneurial ecosystems can connect, exchange experience and put the green and digital transition into action.
